Arctic Monkeys tour 2018 CONFIRMED: Tickets, dates, venues, all you need to know

The hugely popular band will be taking to several cities around the UK and Ireland as part of their simply-titled Live 2018 jaunt.

Tickets are set to go on sale from 9am this Friday, according to Ticketmaster.

The tour kicks off in September in Manchester, and will wrap up in Newcastle at the end of the same month.

It includes two dates at London’s gargantuan The O2 Arena, plus two shows in Sheffield – the indie outfit’s home town.

September 15 – Birmingham Arena

September 18 – FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield

September 19 – FlyDSA Arena, Sheffield

September 24 – 3Arena, Dublin

September 27 – Metro Radio Arena, Newcastle

The group also has a busy summer of festivals ahead, including a sold-out slot at TRNSMIT Festival and a headlining stint at Sziget Festival.

The tour comes after the group announced their first new album in five years.

Tranquility Base Hotel & Casino will come out on May 11, the follow-up to their 2013 record AM. Its tracklisting set tongues wagging last week – here it is in full:
